Around lunchtime today, my officemates and I all suddenly thought we were going dizzy, realizing a few moments later that we were already feeling an earthquake.
The US Geological Survey Earthquake Hazards Program pegs the quake at Magnitude 6.0, with the epicenter at 16.037°N, 119.906°E, Northwest of Manila.
Firing up Google Maps and keying in the coordinates, the epicenter is roughly at the green arrow shown here:

The quake is some 45 km west of Dagupan City. Hope everyone’s fine up there in Pangasinan.

Imagine, I thought the ground was shaking because of a moving crane in a nearby warehouse. LOL. But I hope the earthquake didn’t do that much damage in Pangasinan, where the epicenter is.

We heard about the earthquake there. Good thing no one is hurt!
