I currently have two cousins who are alumnae and are now professors in ADMU. Unfortunately the UAAP rivalry has its way of bringing out the worst in both sides; both La Salle and Ateneo have their own rotten eggs within their camps. And when these rotten eggs go overboard in their fanaticism, it turns into such hate and bigotry that they forget the values taught to them by their respective alma mater. It is sad when ad majorem Dei gloriam "to the greater glory of God" becomes ad majorem ego gloriam; "to the greater glory of self".
