Back in 2002, Microcontent News published an article online about Google bombs, a phenomenon wherein words that are not present in a particular website become associated with that site if enough people use that word to link to the said website.
For example, although my blog has nothing that says anything about “Diet Coke”, if enough people create a link to my site with the phrase “Diet Coke”, my site might just show up in Google after searching the phrase “Diet Coke”.
So here’s the clincher… try searching the following words in Google. Make it more fun by clicking “I’m feeling lucky” instead of the “Search Google” button:
1. sinungaling
2. sira-ulo
3. pekeng pangulo
4. bugaw
5. miserable failure
Have fun!
