This is another old photo that I took back in 2003, at the MRT Taft Station. Waiting by the doorway whilst another train arrives, I readied my cam anticipating people running late for work (same as me :p ).
I just wanted to have a blurred guy on the foreground against a steady background, and I got pleasantly surprised when I got this “bonus.” Guy was so fast the camera didn’t have time to get any image of his shoe at all.

It’s just a 2 megapixel camera that looks like a small instamatic my cousin gave us for Christmas in 2003. Back when I was working in Oritgas I just put it in my pocket and take it out when I see something interesting.
This one was quite unexpected though
And yes mommy, I will take care of that camera :p

Hi Jon,
One luxury that we enjoy here in Bacolod City is that you don’t have to rush to work. For instance, from my place to the school where I used to teach, I need only 5 minutes, to the city’s biggest mall 10 minutes (when there’s traffic, 20 minutes at the most).
I tried riding the MRT once at noontime and I could barely breathe!

That’s quite nice, bugs.
Well, I’ll be back to riding the MRT everyday starting next week. I used to ride the MRT everyday for a year and a half, and then my company folded up, so I found a job in the PNB head office much nearer to my home. I’m now dropping that job and going back to Ortigas.
I’ll probably go back to taking pictures of the everyday commute as well.
